The Handheld Carbon Monoxide Meter is a high-precision, portable CO gas tester designed for easy use and portability. This versatile device can continuously monitor the CO gas concentration in the surrounding environment, sounding an alarm when the gas concentration reaches a preset level.

With its compact size and lightweight construction, the meter is easy to carry and operate, making it widely applicable across various industries, including petroleum, chemical, coal, metallurgy, paper, fire, municipal, telecommunications, food, and textile. The meter's LCD display and beeper tone indicate the CO level, with the beeper sounding when the CO level exceeds the preset alarm setting (default 100 ppm). Users can freely adjust the concentration of the alarm value, which can be set to different levels based on the environment: 0-1 ppm for normal background, 1-9 ppm for standard living areas, 9-50 ppm for enclosed spaces (8-hour average), and 50-100 ppm for exposure limits.

The device offers four detection modes: Scan, Max, Min, and Hold. In Scan mode, the meter continuously monitors and displays the current CO level. Max mode keeps track of the maximum level, Min mode shows the minimum level, and Hold mode maintains the same reading when activated.

Boasting high consistency and stability, the meter can detect CO concentrations from 1 to 1000 ppm, with a wide temperature measurement range of 0°C to 50°C (32°F to 122°F). The large LED backlit display ensures easy readability, even in harsh environments like darkness, freeing users from time and location constraints.

The meter is powered by three AAA alkaline batteries (not included) and automatically shuts off after 10 minutes of inactivity, conserving battery life. Measuring approximately 13.5 x 5 x 3.5 cm (5.31 x 1.97 x 1.38 inches) and weighing around 89 grams (3.13 ounces), the device is compact and lightweight, making it a convenient and versatile choice for a wide range of applications, including carbon monoxide detection in gas pipelines, car exhaust, underground mines, and industrial waste.
